Rail transport in Belize

Profile: There are no railroads in Belize. Stann Creek Railway, constructed by United Fruit Corp. for the transport of bananas, operated between 1913 - 1937 from Middlesex Estate to Dangriga port. Many remains are left along Hummingbird Highway. This road at some places uses the original railroad bridges.
